Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results driven Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and drive initiatives that support the organziation's growth and business objectives.
- The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, payroll administration, policy implementation, compliance, and staff engagement.
- The idea candidate must possess strong leadership skills, sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, and the ability to build a high performing and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures,and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction process for new employees.
- Manage employee relation by addressing grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate performance management processes, appraisals, and employee development plans.
- Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, leave management, and HR records.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare periodic HR reports and provide strategic HR insights to management.
- Advise management on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Foster a positive workplace culture while promoting professionalism and accountability, and high performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, with at least (2) years in a managerial role.
- Previous HR experience in a bank, mircofinance bank, or other financial institution will be an added advantage.
- Profession certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or any related HR certification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and HR Information System (HRIS)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities.
