Job Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and proactive Finance Specialist at Data2Bots to play a vital role in managing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, guiding budget planning, and providing critical insights to support strategic decisions.
- You’ll work closely with the finance consultant to influence how we manage, track, and grow our business financially.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, and human resources, to gather financial data and ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and guide the organization on financial matters.
- Develop and maintain financial models, tools, and processes to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the financial health of the organization and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including the development of budget guidelines, coordination with departments, and preparation of budget reports and presentations.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, including mentoring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and tax filings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide strategic insights to senior management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Resides in Abuja and is available to work in a Hybrid setting.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and analysis, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial reporting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
