Job Description 

• The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic and personal development, maintain a positive classroom environment, and contribute to the school’s overall learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Assess and monitor pupils’ progress regularly.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Provide appropriate support to learners with different abilities.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, records, and assessment reports.
• Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, excursions, and extracurricular programmes.
• Promote good character, discipline, leadership, and positive values.

Skills & Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification or Degree.
• Good knowledge of the subject/curriculum area.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to use ICT and digital learning tools effectively.
• Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
