Job Description / Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school.
- Oversee the academic, administrative, and operational activities of the school.
- Supervise teachers and support staff and monitor their performance.
- Ensure effective implementation of the school curriculum and academic programmes.
- Monitor students’ academic performance, discipline, welfare, and overall development.
- Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and improvement plans.
- Lead staff meetings, training, appraisals, and professional development programmes.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, management, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations.
- Manage school resources effectively and promote a safe, positive, and conducive learning environment.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and other professional engagements.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Relevant teaching/education certification is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Previous experience as a Head Teacher, Vice Principal, Coordinator, or Head of Department is an advantage.
- Proven experience in school administration, staff supervision, and academic management.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Good knowledge of school management and curriculum development.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to motivate and supervise staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
- Strong understanding of child safeguarding and student welfare.

- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, leadership, and commitment to educational excellence.
- Must be proactive, organized, and capable of working under pressure.
- Must be willing to participate in school activities and events.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the school’s location.
