Job Summary
- To supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the administrative team and facility.
- The successful candidate will ensure seamless administrative processes, efficient asset/equipment maintenance, rigorous power and diesel cost management, and favorable vendor negotiations to support the achievement of organizational goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between executives and internal/external clients.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations and activities of the administrative team.
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and coordinate minimal-downtime equipment repairs.
- Ensure proper power management (government grid, generators, and inverters) to minimize utility costs.
- Monitor diesel availability, maintain daily usage logs, and submit monthly consumption reports.
- Manage administrative requests from various units and departments.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, price reductions, or extended payment plans.
- Ensure timely renewal of corporate licenses, vehicle particulars, and permits.
- Submit and reconcile monthly expense reports and monitor budget efficiency.
- Develop and maintain an efficient, secure documentation and physical/digital filing system.
- Oversee security measures, access control systems, and facilitate staff travel arrangements.
- Carry out other administrative duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Administration or Facility Management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Full comprehension of office management systems, procedures, and high proficiency in MS Office.
- Exemplary planning, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and vendor negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize daily workloads effectively.
Salary
N200,000 monthly.
