Job Description

Customer Service Representative

Location: Okigwe, Imo

Responsibilities

Transport / Passenger Services Duties:

  • Monitor the movement of vehicles arriving at and departing from the terminal.
  • Ensure vehicles are dispatched according to approved schedules and routes.
  • Monitor vehicle availability and ensure requested vehicles are provided on time.
  • Ensure proper allocation of buses/vehicles to scheduled trips.
  • Monitor boarding, loading, departure, and arrival processes.
  • Ensure operational delays are promptly identified, escalated, and resolved.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Terminal Manager and Operations Department on operational matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company operational procedures and standards.
  • Escalate vehicle shortages, breakdowns, delays, or other operational challenges promptly.
  • Coordinate with drivers and other operational personnel to ensure smooth trip execution.
  • Monitor driver punctuality and readiness for scheduled trips.

Logistics/Parcel Services Duties:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional assistance on parcel booking, rates, delivery timelines, and other logistics inquiries.
  • Coordinate the routing and tripping of parcelsto ensure prompt dispatch and timely delivery across all GUO Logistics locations.
  • Supervise and verify proper packaging, registration, and inspectionof parcels before dispatch to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Track and monitor parcels in transit and proactively update customers on delivery status or any service delays.
  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation including waybills, manifests, receipts, and proof of delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints, claims, and inquiries effectively, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the operations and dispatch teams to facilitate smooth coordination between terminals and delivery points.
  • Record and maintain customer data and transaction history accurately in the CRM system.
  • Support revenue collection and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Promote GUO Logistics services by maintaining a positive and professional image in all customer interactions.

Salary

N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
