Job Description

  • As we continue to strengthen our positioning and elevate the brand experience, we are looking for a highly capable, commercially minded, and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure that every aspect of the client and team experience meets our standards.

Job Summary

  • The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable running of the Facility.
  • This role requires a strong combination of people management, operational discipline, customer experience, business performance, problem-solving, and commercial awareness.
  • The ideal candidate will be expected to understand the numbers, identify operational gaps, improve processes, hold teams accountable, protect the standard, and contribute meaningfully to business growth.

Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations and ensure smooth coordination across all departments and service areas.
  • Ensure the facility is consistently ready for business and maintained to the required premium standard.
  • Monitor opening and closing procedures, staff attendance, schedules, service flow, and operational readiness.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce operational procedures, checklists, and standards.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered according to approved standards.

Team Management & Performance:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and manage the performance of theteam.
  • Set clear expectations and ensure employees understand their responsibilities and performance targets.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct, productivity, and service quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training and development needs and work with management to address them.
  • Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional service.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing across operating periods.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure every client receives a consistently premium and memorable experience.
  • Monitor the client journey from booking and reception through service delivery and post-service follow-up.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, repeat visits, referrals, and client retention.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall client experience.
  • Ensure staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, warmth, discretion, and excellent communication.

Business & Revenue Performance:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.
  • Track revenue, service utilisation, average customer spend, repeat visits, cancellations, and other relevant business indicators.
  • Work with the team to maximise bookings and service utilisation.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, client retention, upselling, cross-selling, and reactivation.
  • Support the development and execution of initiatives designed to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.
  • Monitor departmental and overall business targets and take corrective action where required.

Inventory, Supplies & Cost Control:

  • Oversee the availability and proper management of products, consumables, equipment, and operational supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Reduce wastage, unnecessary consumption, losses, and operational leakages.
  • Ensure proper documentation of stock movement and usage.
  • Work closely with management and relevant vendors on procurement requirements.
  • Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising service quality.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all services and operations comply withapproved standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular operational checks and quality-control reviews.
  • Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and professional presentation standards are consistently maintained.
  • Identify operational risks and escalate significant issues to management promptly.
  • Ensure required records, reports, checklists, and documentation are properly maintained.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to staffing, sales, inventory, customer feedback, incidents, and operational performance.
  • Analyse operational data and provide management with actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate meetings, briefings, and operational reviews as required.
  • Ensure proper communication of management decisions and operational changes to the team.

Business Improvement:

  • Continuously reviewoperations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend new processes, systems, services, partnerships, or initiatives that can improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Support management during the implementation of new systems, policies, services, and business initiatives.
  • Stay informed about relevant developments within the wellness, spa, beauty, and hospitality industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3years in a supervisory or management position.
  • Experience in spa, wellness, beauty, hospitality, retail, lifestyle, or other customer-facing service businesses will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and day-to-day business operations.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and service excellence.
  • Good knowledge of operational reporting, performance management, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and the ability to work with operational and financial reports.
  • Ability to work with targets, KPIs, budgets, and performance data.

Salary

N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
