Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our premises.
- In this role, you will ensure our physical workplace is safe, operational, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards.
- You will manage vendor relationships, oversee maintenance schedules, lead health and safety compliance, and optimize facility budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations & Maintenance: Oversee routine facility inspections, preventative maintenance programs, and prompt repair of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, negotiate with, and supervise third-party contractors and vendors (janitorial, security, HVAC, waste management, etc.) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Health, Safety, & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, local building codes, and fire safety protocols. Conduct regular safety drills.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in preparing annual facility budgets, manage operational expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Space Planning & Management: Manage office layouts, space allocation, moves, and facility upgrades or renovations as needed.
- Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for facility emergencies and implement robust contingency plans.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of proven experience in facility management or corporate operations.
- Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMA, or PMP) are a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and vendor management abilities.
- Solid knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
