Job Description
- As the business continues to grow, it is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to build and lead a modern HR function that supports business performance, employee experience, leadership effectiveness, and organizational growth.
Role Purpose
- The Human Resources Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all HR activities
- . The role focuses on developing people strategies, strengthening culture, ensuring compliance, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Governance:
- Establish and strengthen the HR function.
- Develop HR policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct HR and culture assessments and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and maintain HR records.
Culture & Employee Experience:
- Drive employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Embed company values and support culture transformation.
- Partner with leadership on organizational change programs.
Employee Relations:
- Manage disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Provide trusted HR advice while ensuring fair and compliant practices.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
- Continuously improve hiring processes.
Performance Management:
- Develop and oversee performance management frameworks.
- Support managers with goal setting, feedback, and employee development.
- Coordinate probation reviews and performance improvement plans.
Learning & Development:
- Identify capability gaps and implement development plans.
- Coordinate training and leadership development initiatives.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Participate in salary benchmarking and job evaluations.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with statutory benefits.
Workforce Planning & HR Operations:
- Maintain organizational structures and job descriptions.
- Support succession planning and workforce analytics.
- Oversee leave administration, pensions, HMO, employee wellbeing, and HR systems.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports.
- Track key metrics including headcount, recruitment, turnover, performance, employee relations, learning and development, and engagement.
- Provide insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Law, or related fields
- Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, CIPD, or equivalent) preferred.
- 8 - 12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience building or improving HR systems in growing organizations.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, organizational development, and policy development.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and HR reporting systems.

Salary
N850,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
