HR Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
The HR Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function.
The role supports recruitment activities, employee onboarding, HR documentation, and general HR administration to ensure smooth and compliant people operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
Assist with job postings across job boards and social media platforms.
Coordinate interview schedules, assessments, and candidate communications.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
Support background checks and reference verification processes.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Assist with onboarding documentation.
Coordinate employee onboarding processes, including induction schedules.
Ensure timely documentation for new hires (forms, IDs, confirmations).
Support exit documentation and handover processes for exiting employees.
HR Documentation & Records:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (physical and electronic).
Manage HR documentation such as confirmations, queries, and memos.
Support compliance with internal HR policies and statutory requirements.
HR Administration:
Assist with leave administration and attendance records.
Support payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data.
Handle routine HR inquiries from staff and escalate when necessary.
Support HR projects, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
HND/BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–3years experience in an HR or administrative role (NYSC experience acceptable).
Basic understanding of recruitment and HR processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
