Job Description / Responsibilities
- Teach Agricultural Science using both theory and practical approaches.
- Supervise school farm activities and agricultural projects.
- Prepare students for practical examinations and competitions.
- Promote modern farming techniques and environmental sustainability.
- Maintain agricultural tools, equipment, and farm records.
Requirements
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.
- Experience managing school farms is an added advantage.
Other Requirements:
- TRCN registration is an added advantage.
- Cambridge certification is an added advantage for applicants seeking to teach the Cambridge curriculum.
- Strong moral character, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal development.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of crop and animal production.
- Practical agricultural skills.
- Good communication and classroom management.
