Accountant
Location: Berger, Lagos

Core Tasks
- Prepare Financial Reports.
- File statutory returns (PAYE, VAT & WHT).
- Post accounting documents and perform reconciliations.
- File monthly statutory returns.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare schedules for audits and management reporting.
Statutory Compliance:
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns including:
- Pay As You Earn (PAYE)
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Ensure compliance with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file monthly statutory returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain proper tax documentation and support during audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or ANAN qualification (completed or in progress) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant accounting experience in an Advertising Agency or a related industry.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of accounting experience in an advertising agency or similar organization.
- Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory remittances.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
