Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures.
- The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and maintain proper accounting records.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist in payroll preparation and statutory deductions where required.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management review.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory remittances is an added advantage.
Salary
₦150,000 – ₦200,000 Monthly.
