Job Description

  • We seek a highly qualified and experienced Commerce teacher to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will teach Commerce to students at the secondary school level, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and assess student progress.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Commerce, excellent teaching skills, and must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a diverse range of Commercetopics, using a variety of instructional methods and resources.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning activities and project-based assignments to reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom.
  • Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any disciplinary issues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including participating in extracurricular activities.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field.
  •  Teaching certification.
  • 2-3 years of experience teaching Commerce or a related subject at the secondary level.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the core areas of Commerce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and convey information effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative lesson plans and activities.
  • Patience and adaptability to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

Other Requirements:

  • Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment in the classroom.
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Commerce education.
