Audit Officer
Location: Onipanu, Lagos

About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Officer to join our finance/audit team in Onipanu, Lagos. You’ll support audit engagements by testing controls, verifying records, and helping ensure clients meet regulatory and financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits for clients
- Prepare working papers, audit reports, and supporting schedules
- Perform substantive testing, vouching, and analytical procedures on financial records
- Check adherence to IFRS, CAMA, FRC, and other relevant regulations
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Liaise with client finance teams to gather evidence and clarify findings
- Draft audit findings and assist senior auditors with final report preparation
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA/ACCA in progress is an advantage
- 2 years audit, accounting, or assurance experience. Fresh graduates with strong academics may apply
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP is a plus
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Onipanu/Lagos mainland area.
Salary
N180,000 / Month.
