Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Deputy Manager to support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of both the Travel and Education teams.
- The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, lead team performance, ensure exceptional customer service, and contribute to business growth while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Travel and Education teams.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance and service delivery.
- Ensure timely processing of travel bookings, visa applications, admissions, and other client services.
- Resolve escalated client complaints and ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Coordinate with airlines, embassies, institutions, partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Review reports, monitor sales performance, and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing operational processes, policies, and service improvements.
- Conduct staff coaching, performance reviews, and on-the-job training where required.
- Collaborate with Management on strategic initiatives, budgeting, and departmental planning.
- Prepare operational and performance reports for Management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager or Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Travel & Tourism, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in travel, education consulting, or a related service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and achieve operational targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of travel operations, visa processing, and international admissions is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
