Enterprise Risk Management Officer

Job Summary
- The ERM Officer will support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the enterprise risk management framework across the organization.
- The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting within a financial services environment.
- Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Head, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring enterprise-wide risks, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key risk exposures and mitigation actions.
- Conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts on the business.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
- Support the maintenance of the risk register and follow up on risk mitigation action plans.
- Assist in the coordination of risk awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate risk management into business processes and decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Analysis, Compliance, or related field, preferably in financial services or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and risk reporting tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
