Account Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to provide temporary support during a maternity leave period.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, financial record-keeping, reconciliations, and other finance-related activities to ensure seamless business operations during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations.
- Support payroll preparation and related finance documentation.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
