Group Accountant (Chartered)

Job Summary
- The Group Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting, compliance, treasury operations, budgeting, and financial controls of the entire Group.
- The role ensures the integrity of financial information and provides strategic financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Group-wide accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow and treasury management activities.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive management.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor profitability and financial performance across business units.
- Review capital expenditure proposals and investment opportunities.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory and tax returns.
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team across locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Must possess ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years' accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a seniorfinancial managementrole.
- Experience managing multi-location business operations is required.
