Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
- Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns
- Monitor budgets and expenditures
- Conduct audits and identify discrepancies
- Provide financial advice and cost-saving recommendations
- Manage payroll and invoicing (in some roles)
Required Skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Problem-solving ability
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
