Accountant
Location: Awoyaya, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, and company ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Track production costs, including raw materials, labor, fuel, and other operational expenses.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products and reconcile stock records regularly.
- Record and reconcile daily sales transactions and customer payments.
- Prepare and process employee payroll and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes, pensions, and other statutory obligations.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor adherence to approved budgets.
- Conduct periodic financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
- Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.
- Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ATS is an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or block production environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience in inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary
N200,000 / Month.
