English Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, BECE, WAEC, and NECO classes as applicable.
- Prepare students effectively for internal and external examinations.
- Develop students' proficiency in grammar, writing, comprehension, literature appreciation, public speaking, and critical thinking.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with both British and Nigerian curriculum standards.
- Monitor student performance and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
- Integrate educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in English, English Education, Linguistics, Literature in English, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Demonstrated experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, Checkpoint, IGCSE, or equivalent examinations.
- Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Must be highly tech savvy with proven competence in educational technology, digital assessment tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, interactive classroom technologies, and AI-supported instructional tools.
- TRCN certification and postgraduate qualifications are added advantages
