Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in financial reporting.
- The ideal candidate will ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely recording of all financial activities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Support budgeting and expense tracking activities
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Use QuickBooks to record, track, and manage financial transactions
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Perform any other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience (FMCG experience is an advantage)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration
- Salary: N200,000 / month.
- Accommodation: Available.
