Job Description

Customer Service Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, processing requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience that promotes customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, social media, and in-person interactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Process customer orders, requests, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Support customer retention and loyalty initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an advantage.
