Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Trainer to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
- This is an urgent requirement for a professional who is passionate about data science and enjoys imparting knowledge to learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in Data Science and related fields.
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Provide mentorship and support to learners throughout their learning journey.
- Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in Data Science.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience delivering training in Data Science.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience using industry-standard tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on industry experience in Data Science or Analytics.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners with varying levels of experience.
- Experience in curriculum development and learner assessment.
