Job Description

Administrative Officer

Location: Abuja

Job Purpose

  • The Administrative Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and smooth business functioning.
  • You will manage office administration, facility management, vendor coordination, asset management, travel and logistics arrangements, record keeping, and administrative support services.
  • Also ensure that organizational resources are effectively utilized, administrative policies are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage time and attendance biometric capturing, update weekly roaster and generate report for weekly wages payment.
  • Manage and process weekly and monthly payments for police and SPU officers
  • Ensure regular staff enlightenment on quality management system, while ensuring compliance with quality policy.
  • Manage the process of generating staff ID and access cards.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure that the company’s fleet are in good working condition.
  • Ensure all documentation, licenses, and registrations pertaining to the company’s fleet are updated as at when due.
  • Process logistic support requests for personnel across the company in relation to travelling on local business (official) trips.
  • Manage vendors and ensure SLAs are met, risk is mitigated, and increased value is gained from all vendors.
  • Classify, record, and file documents for use in maintaining administrative records for the HR & Admin department.

Qualifications

  • First Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration or any related discipline.
  • Professional certification in HR Management e.g. Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), etc, is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ job-relevant experience in a well-structured organization, preferably manufacturing or FMCG.
