HR Manager

Description
- The HR Manager will lead and oversee all human resources functions, ensuring the development and execution of HR strategies that align with BLUEWAVE's business objectives.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compliance, and HR operations within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals. Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract top talent.
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and employee development plans.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Provide guidance to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies. Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Identify training and development needs and implement learning programs.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives. Develop HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with leadership to support organizational growth, change management, and regional expansion efforts. Maintain HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and growing organization.
- Experience in the renewable energy, solar, power, manufacturing, engineering, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the renewable energy industry, particularly solar and inverter solutions.
- Experience supporting multi-country operations or expansion projects across Africa.
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage and will be considered a valuable asset.
- Experience working with multicultural and international teams.
Professional Certifications:
- The following certifications are highly desirable: SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP, Associate Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM),CIPD or other recognized HR certifications
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to build HR processes that support business growth and regional expansion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
