Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Engineer (Data Science & AI Focus) to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will design intelligent systems, build data-driven applications, and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications with a focus on AI-driven solutions
- Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Apply AI techniques such as predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), and automation
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and improve decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business)
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Document models, systems, and workflows
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 2-5 years experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with data science tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and model lifecycle
- Familiarity with deep learning, NLP, or computer vision is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, and APIs
- Proficiency with Git and software development best practices
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
