Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT administrator who will Oversee ICT Office works by taking overall responsibility for the department’s functions and activities and ensure that the ICT Office functions provide adequate support to Skyline university nigeria (sun) core functions (As per Dept. Goals).

Responsibilities

To ensure proper functioning of all the equipment’s in the Data Center andother Locations
Make sure that technical help is provided to the clerical, administrative staff, as well as students and faculty.
Carry out duties as instructed by the IT Consultant.
This position reports to the Head-Computing Department.
To maintain the File server, Student server.
To install, configure and repair the Servers / Computers in Data Center, Class rooms, faculties and the departments.
To maintain the projectors in labs and classrooms
Register all new staff for biometrics and manage the entire system.
To take all serve backups.
To visit the labs and class rooms to make sure the IT equipment’s are working fine
To set the policies and implement It to secure the Data in file server
Other duties as deemed appropriate for this position.

Knowledge / Skill Area:

Analytical thinking and policy conceptualization skills,Team Management,Budget Management, Planning & Strategic Thinking, Communication & Relationship Management,English Language Skills, Technical English (letter writing, contract drafting etc.),Computer Literacy (Proficiency in MS Office etc.).

Infrastructure management of the University and Hostel including:

Salary

N300,000 - N500,000 per month.
