Job Summary
- The Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff.
- This role ensures professional front desk operations, courteous and efficient service, accurate handling of inquiries, proper visitor management, and smooth daily office operations.
- The role also supports administrative functions to facilitate operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and receive all visitors professionally, issuing visitor identification and ensuring proper access.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Respond to inquiries accurately and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain detailed visitor logs and submit regular reports to the supervisor.
- Schedule appointments and provide support to internal teams.
- Maintain the reception area and common spaces in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Coordinate with security and other departments to ensure smooth front office operations.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing, administrative, or front office role.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems.
- Ability to handle stress, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and reliability.
