Job brief
- Ensure effective internal control and compliance in HR operations by maintaining accurate employee records, reviewing HR processes, and coordinating periodic audits to uphold accuracy and policy adherence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee and HR operational records, ensuring all data is well-organized and up to date.
- Prepare and process payroll, benefits, and allowances, ensuring timely settlements for staff and contractors.
- Monitor HR budget reports and reconcile records to support accurate reporting.
- Assist in HR budget preparation and expense tracking, providing data to support cost management decisions.
- Track and follow up on pending HR-related payments (e.g., reimbursements, benefits) to maintain smooth operations.
- Support internal and external HR audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
- Prepare periodic HR reports and summaries for management review.
- Organize and maintain proper HR documentation (e.g., contracts, appraisals, disciplinary records) for transparency and easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with operations and departmental heads to align HR processes with organizational activities.
- Support workforce planning and tracking of employee headcount and related resources.
- Identify opportunities for HR process improvement and cost savings, sharing recommendations with management.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensure data integrity.

- HR process discrepancies and resource wastage reduction: >60% per quarter
- Employee data and record accuracy: >80% per quarter
- HR policy non-compliance reduction: <80% bi-annual
- HR budget variance accuracy: <18% annually

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or related) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR, administrative, or operational support roles.
- Background in agribusiness, manufacturing, or corporate environments is beneficial.

N400,000 per month.
