An oil & gas exploration and production company based in Rivers State is sourcing a Senior Civil Engineer for their oil field in Rivers State, Nigeria.
JOB PURPOSE
Supervise all civil engineering activities on the project site on behalf of the Company.
The job holder will ensure that all civil works are carried out in accordance with the design or best professional practice.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Support and advice the project team on all matters relating to civil/ structural aspects of the project.
Supervise and manage all civil and survey related activities and works that will be carried out by the different civil contractors at the project site on behalf of the Company and report to the Supervisor.
Ensure that all civil works meet both design intents and the Company's quality expectations.
Provide input to the Company on matters relating to civil/ structural activities at the project site.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Master's degree in a related discipline is an added value.
Minimum 8-10 years in civil and construction engineering in the Upstream or an international EPCI Company.
Candidate should have at least a minimum of 5-6 experience in Oil & Gas industry, in consulting or EPC company with Design & Engineering capability.
SKILLS
Considerable experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED).
Experience in managing JV partners in knowledge sharing and taking the lead in technical matters
