ICT Operator
Location: Rumudara, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Main Duties
- Operating and maintaining computer systems and ICT equipment
- Monitoring network performance and internet connectivity
- Installing and updating software applications
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Assisting users with technical issues
- Managing data entry, backups, and file storage
- Ensuring cybersecurity and protecting company data
- Operating printers, scanners, and other office technology
- Maintaining communication systems such as emails and teleconferencing tools
- Keeping records of ICT activities and system performance.
Educational Requirements
Most employers require:
- A secondary school certificate or diploma
- Certification or training in ICT/computer studies
- Knowledge of common software like Microsoft Office
- Sometimes experience in networking or system support
- Workplaces for ICT Operators.
