Finance Manager
Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Job Summary
- To lead financial planning, control, reporting, and risk management. ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, and alignment with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Track performance vs. budget and provide variance analysis
- Support strategic decision-making through insights and recommendations
- Financial Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and company policies
- Consolidate financial across factory plants and Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor production and operating costs in the factory
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and analyze cost drivers (energy, logistics, raw materials) and recommendation for management decision.
- Compliance & Internal Controls, Strengthen internal controls and audit processes, Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Manage relationships with auditors (internal & external)
- Cash Flow &Treasury Oversight like overdraft management
- Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Management of international finance of letter of credit and other mean of international payment.
- Report directly to Executive Director – Finance, Admin and corporate services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
- Minimum of five years post professional qualification in Accounting
- Professional certification required: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry will be of added advantage
- Computer literate in accounting packages and other related software.
- Knowledge on international trade and finance
- Excellent Knowledge of Nigeria Tax law.
