Restuarant Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Reports to: General Manager / Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Supervisors, Wait Staff, Hostesses, Bar Staff, Kitchen Support Staff
Main Functions
- The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, operational efficiency, staff productivity, and profitability.
- The role ensures smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and operational staff.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and operational regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and kitchen teams.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of restaurant staff.
- Drive sales growth and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 4–6 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Experience managing large teams and high-volume operations is highly preferred.
