Role Summary

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to support management decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial modelling capability, and a solid understanding of financial statements and business performance drivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, budgets, and management accounts to assess business performance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders

• Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track variances against budget and forecasts

• Support cash flow planning, working capital management, and cost optimization initiatives

• Conduct investment appraisals, profitability analysis, and return-on-investment (ROI) assessments

• Assist in preparing business plans, funding proposals, and presentations for banks and investors

• Support audit processes and ensure financial data integrity and compliance

• Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to improve financial outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and variance analysis skills

• Solid understanding of financial statements, KPIs, cash flow, and business performance drivers

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to management
