Job Title: 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁

We are seeking an experienced Hydrocarbon Accountant who will ensure compliance with contracts, joint operating agreements (JOAs), regulatory requirements, and internal controls while supporting financial reporting and decision making. They will also be responsible for accurately tracking, allocating and reporting production volumes, revenues and royalties related to Oil and Gas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production and Revenue Accounting.

2. Royalties, Taxes and Compliance.

3. Joint Interest and Partner Reporting.

4. Reconciliations and Controls.

5. Systems and Process Improvement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or a related field from a reputable institution.

2. 4-6 years of experience as Hydrocarbon Accountant or revenue accounting experience (depending on level)

3. Strong understanding of production accounting, JOAs and Oil &Gas contratcs.

4. Good communication skills, high attention to details and strong analytical skills.

5. Knowledge of royalties, severance taxes and regulatory reporting

6. Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

7. Experience in Oil and Gas, upstream operations preferred.
