Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Kano State.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics personnel and third-party vendors effectively.
Job Description
- Plan, implement, and manage logistics strategies to support production and distribution operations
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management activities
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory control to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Liaise with suppliers, distributors, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Supervise logistics staff and ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain
- Prepare logistics reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Optimize costs related to transportation, storage, and distribution
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4–6 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within the food manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must reside in Kano State and be available for immediate resumption

Salary
₦250,000 (Gross Monthly).
