Description

Our reputable hospital is seeking a smart, proactive, and highly organized Pharmacist to oversee medication dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and support optimal patient outcomes through excellent pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Professional Leadership:
- Review and validate prescriptions for appropriateness and safety.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, doctors, and nurses on treatment plans.
Pharmacy Operations Management:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians.
Inventory, Cost & Supply Chain Management:
- Lead drug procurement planning and vendor management.
- Ensure availability of critical and specialized medications.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:
- Drive continuous quality improvement within the pharmacy unit.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and traceability of medications.
Patient Safety & Experience:
- Implement medication safety protocols and error prevention systems.
- Ensure effective patient counseling, especially for complex therapies.
- Strengthen communication between the pharmacy and other clinical units.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Valid practicing license.
- 3–5 years’ experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
