Customer Service Representative

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support patients in sourcing their medications.
- You will serve as the link between patients and partner pharmacies to confirm drug availability, discuss brand options, and coordinate pickup or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to patient medication requests via phone, chat, or other communication channels.
- Contact partner pharmacies to confirm the availability, pricing, and brand options of requested medications.
- Communicate clearly with patients to verify their preferred medication brands and alternatives when necessary.
- Confirm patient choices regarding pickup at pharmacy locations or delivery arrangements.
- Coordinate with logistics/delivery teams to ensure timely medication dispatch.
- Provide accurate updates to patients on order status and expected timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of customer interactions, orders, and pharmacy confirmations.
- Handle complaints, inquiries, and service issues professionally and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with patient privacy and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in any field (health-related field is an advantage).
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Fast learner with leadership and problem solving skills
- Good attention to detail, organization and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of medications is an advantage.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple patient requests efficiently.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and data entry systems.
- Experience working in a healthcare facility such as a hospital or pharmacy is an added advantage.
- Tech savvy, experience with various software apps and tools.
