Head of Engineering
Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Head of Engineering to lead and manage all engineering and maintenance activities within our production facility.
- The ideal candidate will ensure optimal machine performance, minimal downtime, strict compliance with safety standards, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment.
- Drive machine efficiency and reduce downtime to the barest minimum.
- Supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning of new machines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Manage engineering budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare engineering reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Train and mentor engineering staff for improved performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 8–10 years engineering experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of production machinery, utilities, and maintenance systems.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning and reporting tools.
