Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and reliable Locum Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services on a part-time basis.
- The ideal candidate will ensure safe, effective, and legal dispensing of medications while delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in line with legal and professional standards
- Provide expert advice on the safe use of medicines to patients and healthcare professionals
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and ethical standards
- Maintain proper record-keeping and documentation of controlled substances
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and lifestyle modifications
- Supervise pharmacy staff and support their professional development
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of medications
- Handle patient queries and provide over-the-counter recommendations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment
Requirements
- Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Regulatory Requirement: Must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
