Job Responsibilities
- Teach Physics, Basic Technology, and Geography to junior and/or senior secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans in line with the Nigerian national curriculum (WAEC, NECO, and BECE standards).
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons that enhance students’ understanding.
- Conduct assessments, tests, and examinations and maintain accurate student records.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Utilize instructional materials, laboratory equipment, and ICT tools effectively.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings, school programs, and professional development activities.
- Perform other academic duties assigned by the school management
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of B.Sc., B.Ed., or B.Tech in Physics, Geography, Engineering, Education, or related field.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school.
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach practical and technical aspects of Basic Technology and Physics.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel etc.).
