Role Summary
- A growing cosmetics company in Sabo, Yaba is seeking a Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in financial reporting and tax compliance.
- The ideal candidate must be technically sound, detail-oriented, and capable of managing financial records, statutory filings, and supporting business decisions. Experience in inventory-driven businesses (retail, cosmetics, or fashion) is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial records, reports, and schedules.
- Handle tax computations and filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT).
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and financial discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Support audit processes (internal and external).
- Oversee inventory tracking and reconciliation.
Requirements
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA – mandatory).
- 1-3 years relevant accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and filings.
- Experience working in retail, cosmetics, or inventory-based business is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Experience in inventory-driven businesses (retail, cosmetics, or fashion) is a strong advantage.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
