Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Assistant Secretary provides administrative and organizational support to senior management, ensuring efficient coordination of office operations.
  • The role involves managing documentation, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and supporting communication across departments within the organization’s food production, agricultural, and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Company Secretary and management team
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain official documents, reports, and records
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate logistics for internal and external engagements
  • Record and distribute minutes of meetings accurately and promptly
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, calls) professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive corporate information
  • Assist in compliance documentation and regulatory filings where required
  • Support communication between departments, including production, distribution, and supply chain units
  • Manage office supplies and ensure smooth administrative operations
  • Assist in coordinating company programs such as farmer support initiatives and internal projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related fields
  • Proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles (preferably in FMCG, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

N120,000 - N160,000 monthly.
