Industrial Project Manager
Location: Kano
Contract Duration: 2 Years.
Summary
- To strengthen our growing operations in Kano, NutriK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Project Manager to join our Production Department.
Overall Mission
General objective:
- The Industrial Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing industrial projects from concept through completion.
- This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Plan, manage, and deliver industrial projects (factory installations, upgrades, expansions, and process improvements)
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with NutriK’s strategic goals
- Coordinate internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization
- Support commissioning, handover, and post‑project evaluation
- Carry out any additional relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.
Required Skills
- Education Degree – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related fields).
- Work experience – Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience managing industrial or manufacturing projects
- Language skills – English.
- Proven experience in factory construction, equipment installation, or production line projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria
- PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage
- Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook
