We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Officer to manage tax compliance, filings, and statutory obligations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely tax payments and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1-3years experience

Role KRAs/Key Deliverables

1. Assisting the F&A Manager in the development, management, and implementation of Tax structures resulting to minimum tax payable by the Company.

2. Checking of all documents for correct withholding Tax deduction before payment.

3. Analysis Withholding Tax payment to the related GLs; with this, on monthly basic withholding tax should be reconciled against GLs balance

4. Prepare monthly reports and schedules of Withholding Tax for both Federal and State Governments, substantiate accuracy, raise payment requests, and ensure prompt payment.

5. Prepare monthly reports and schedules of VAT, Substantiates accuracy, Prepare payment requests, and ensure prompt payment on or before the 21st of the following month.

6. Prepare monthly PAYE, Pension, and NSITF, for on time payment upload and file to various authorities.

7. Assisting the F&A Manager to relate with any query from Tax Authorities (Federal & State).

8. Assisting the F&A Manager in computation of Annual Income Tax, Education Tax Deferred Tax, Capital Allowance etc and Filling same with FIRS

9. Assisting all other Units in the Department.

10. Any other assignment by the HOD.
