Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary
- We are seeking aqualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to support our laboratory operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine and specialized laboratory tests while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests (hematology, chemistry, serology, microbiology, etc.).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure quality control and accurate documentation of results.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, hygiene, and ethical standards.
- Assist in the inventory management of laboratory supplies.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- OND / HND / BMLS in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience (experience in a diagnostic center is an advantage).
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
