Electrical Engineer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
- Evaluate electrical systems, components, and applications for performance and efficiency.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Participate in plant shutdowns, installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives, renewable energy and continuous improvement projects.
- Supervise technicians and contractors when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Eng / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment or power plant is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors and power distribution.
- Membership of COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) certification is required.
- Membership with NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers) or HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) certification is an added advantage.
