Business Development Officer - Structured Products

Description
- As a Business Development Officer within the Structured Products Team, you will support the origination, development, and distribution of structured investment solutions.
- You will be responsible for driving client engagement, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored investment products that support AUM growth and client objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities for structured products across institutional, corporate, and HNI segments.
- Build, manage, and deepen client relationships to drive product adoption and retention.
- Support client engagement activities including meetings, pitches, and presentations of structured investment solutions.
- Work closely with the Structured Products, Investment Banking, and Investment Management teams to support product development and execution.
- Assist in structuring and positioning investment solutions such as income products, capital preservation solutions, and yield-driven offerings.
- Prepare investment proposals, pitch decks, term sheets, and other client-facing materials.
- Monitor market trends, investor behaviour, and competitor offerings to inform product development and strategy.
- Support fundraising initiatives and contribute to the growth of Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Identify viable investment opportunities to support underlying asset allocation for structured products.
- Track and report on business development pipelines, client activities, and product performance.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–6 years’ relevant experience with capabilities across:
- Structured Finance / Credit Structuring / Risk Management
- SME Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Investment Banking / Deal Execution
- Strong understanding of financial markets, fixed income instruments, and investment products.
- Good analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive business development and meet targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
